Teupitz is a town in the Dahme-Spreewald district in Brandenburg, located 45 kilometers south of central Berlin and 65 kilometers northwest of Cottbus, on the southern shore of Lake Teupitz. Teupitz is one of the oldest and also one of the smallest towns in Brandenburg. Nestled in the forested and lake-rich landscape of the Dahme Lake District, Teupitz is a natural beauty situated halfway to the Spreewald.

Teupitz is accessible via the eponymous exit (5a) of the A13 motorway Berlin – Dresden. The town is located on the state road L 74, connecting Wünsdorf to Märkisch Buchholz. The nearest train station is Groß Köris, which has been in operation since 1897, located on the Berlin–Görlitz railway line. It is served by the regional train line RE 7 (Dessau-Bad Belzig–Berlin–Senftenberg).
